When the owners of this detached house first bought the property, they weren’t sure if they would rent it out of end up staying in it. But when they finally decided to live in it, Third Avenue Studio was brought on board to help them realise a home that is both practical and enjoyable.
The choice of top grade material in this house lends to its sense of sophistication. While most might have chosen a timer laminate to create a feature wall, for example, the interior design firm used solid timber planks to create the gimmick-free feature wall at the front of the living room.
Entertaining makes up a big part of the homeowner’s social life, so it makes sense that the formal dining area is set alongside an impressive dry kitchen. A solid suar wood dining table brings an element of warmth, while a solid marble island acts as a fitting contrast.
