#5 Ypperlig collection, in collaboration with Hay

The design-savvy probably already know of world-renowned Danish furniture design company Hay. Together with Ikea, the designers have come up with the Ypperlig collection that focusses on the beauty of basics, by playing up materials, colours and production techniques in the design of the pieces. Slated to arrive in October, Ikea’s first designer collaboration includes a wide variety of products, such as sofas, tables, vases, shelving units, mirrors, carrier bags, and more. Pictured here are a table ($349), stools ($39.90 each), assorted cushion covers ($14.90 each) and a wall shelf ($29.90) – the blonde wood tones of the furniture pop against the warmth of a rich sunset red wall, for a simple, but striking vignette. We can’t wait for this one!
