SPRMRKT opens a new outlet at Robertson Quay

Diners and shoppers can now enjoy the SPRMRKT experience at two locations: the original SPRMRKT at McCallum Street and the newly-opened outlet located within the Singapore Tyler Print Institute.

The new outlet is made up of SPRMRKT Daily, a cafe with a grocery-style retail space, and SPRMRKT Kitchen & Bar, a fine dining restaurant helmed by head chef Jonathan Ong.

On the first level, SPRMRKT Daily serves a fixed menu daily (the McCallum outlet has a revolving menu) consisting of delish-sounding dishes like Grilled Atlantic Salmon with Housemade Citrus Hollandaise, and the Twice-Cooked Baby Back Ribs with Chilli, Shallots and Caramelised Bean Sauce.

The all-day breakfast menu includes crowd favourite The English Breakfast featuring eggs, toasted brioche, sausage and bacon, and the ever-popular Eggs Benedict served with honey baked ham and lightly buttered crumpets.

Over at the grocery-style retail space, you will find products from homegrown suppliers like Superlative Foods, an organic food manufacturer in Singapore; Poppy & Co., a local manufacturer of chocolate bars and cookie butter; and Kamilinen, a local supplier of linen goods. Other local retailers like Supermama, BooksActually and Candles of Light will also present a curated selection of goods.

Falcon Enamelware from the UK and Brother Basil coffee from Australia will join the stable of artisanal goods in the retail section.

On the second level, SPRMRKT Kitchen & Bar is a fine-dining restaurant that strays from the straight-laced atmosphere of typical fine-dining concepts. Designed by Parable Studio, the restaurant is decked out in muted tones of pink and grey, furnished with booth seats and completed with the Patera light from Louis Poulsen.

SPRMRKT Kitchen & Bar is open 11.30am to 3pm, 6pm to 10pm (Mondays-Fridays), and 6pm to 10pm (Saturdays). Operating hours may change from October 2016. The restaurant has a seating capacity of 30.
