It’s heating up outdoors, and the weather forecast says expect it to get warmer. One trick that the Scandinavians do, according to Ulla Riemer of Danish lighting company Louis Poulsen, is they use warm-hued lights inside their homes to help them feel cosier after coming in from their chilly environs. We thought — what a bright idea (pun intended)! Maybe having cool-hued things to set our eyes upon at home might help too! So here’s a roundup of some pretty, cooling pastel pieces we’re loving.
Lueur lamps by Desinere and Tinge
Origami-print rug by Nendo for Boconcept
A fabric-upholstered armchair (so it doesn’t stick to your sweaty skin!) in a cool mint print
And if you must have your leather sofa (assuming you’ve got the aircon on full blast right about now!), this cooling turquoise Roxanne sofa from Furniture Club will help you think of refreshing azure waters.
